This morning I had a yearning to blog for the first time in a long time. I always enjoy doing it. It ends up being a stress reliever, procrastination tool, and form of therapy, all wrapped up in words. But, sometimes even the benefits of words lose to time. That’s my excuse for not having blogged since January 21, 2013.
Well, it’s time to catch up in the simplest way possible – with pictures! Today to January 2013, in reverse:

My bakery, Flour & Co, is getting a sister in Berkeley. Now doesn’t the first pic make even more sense!? Opening late summer 2015.
This little guy poked his head out into the world exactly six months ago today. Like everyone said (and I didn’t know if I believed them), parenthood is darn right amazing.
Nine months with an expanding tummy (I think he liked the daily Flour & Co treats just as much as I do). Pregnancy was easy on me, maybe because I didn’t sit down like this often. That’s what happens when…

And this is about where I left off in late January 2013. Well, I (with lots of help from my husband, family, and friends) was working pretty hard getting this door open.
Sometimes it helps just to sit back, type, and reflect. And, now, back to work. Until next time…
